What to Hand to AI When You Have No Help

Women hand AI the wrong tasks. They give it the interesting work — the positioning, the voice, the strategy — and then complain it does not sound like them. And they keep the clerical work, the formatting, the chasing, because it feels too small to delegate.

The right test is indifference. If a task has a correct answer and you would not care how it got there, it belongs to the machine. If the way it is done is the thing you are selling, it stays with you.

First, the recurring email. The one you write twelve times a month with a different name at the top. Give AI the shape of it once and reuse it.

Second, the raw material. Your voice memos, the notes app, the screenshots of things you meant to read. Paste the mess in and ask for it sorted. You are not asking it to think. You are asking it to tidy.

Third, the first draft of anything you dread. The awkward follow-up, the price increase, the no.

Fourth, the choosing between options you have already narrowed to two. You do the narrowing. It tells you what each one costs you.

AI will give a confident answer to a question only you can answer, and the confidence is the dangerous part. It does not know your client, your mother, your margin, or what you promised last Tuesday.

Keep the last word. Every time. The draft is disposable; your read on it is the product.

This feels overwhelming because there are forty tools and every one of them wants a week of your attention. Pick one. Stay in it for thirty days.

You will get further with one tool you know well than five you are still figuring out, and the overwhelm is something you chose.
